The Spanish Association of Business Angels Networks (AEBAN) held elections for the presidency, resulting reelected candidacy IESE (University of Navarra) headed by Jose Herrera Fontanals, replacing Juan Roure, who has chaired since its foundation. The Board is completed by Juan Alvarez de Lara (Seed & Click) as Vice President, Pedro Trucharte (BAN Madrid) as Treasurer and Luis Martin Cabiedes (Cabiedes and Partners) as Secretary.

AEBAN reference is the institution of private investment and in early stages in Spain, bringing together the main actors, such as business angels networks, Investor Clubs, Accelerators, incubators and seed companies and funds Investment and start.

Its main objectives are to improve investor ecosystem by promoting best practices, encouraging joint investment and optimization of taxation of investment activity.
AEBAN is present on the Board of the “European Business Angels Network” (EBAN) and “Business Angels Europe” (BAE) and other international institutions on behalf of the sector in which Spain has a weight of 7, 2% number of investment transactions on the European full.
